Meet the Doctors
Dr. Travis Sorensen
Board Certified with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
Born and raised in Northern Utah, I graduated from Viewmont High School in 1998. I attended BYU where I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology. I then went on to attend Dental School at
the University of Oklahoma. After graduating Dental School in 2010, I was accepted into a 4 year Oral and Maxillofacial Residency program at the University of Mississippi which I
completed in 2014.
I am married to my beautiful wife Nichole of 19 years and have two wonderful kids, Ross (16) and Maycie (14).
I have over 10 years of practice experience and am Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I am a fellow with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of the ADA. I have extensive experience in implant dentistry, Anesthesia, Wisdom teeth removal, Bone grafting, Sinus lifts and Pathology of the jaws.
After having taken over for Dr. DeDecker in 2022, it has been a tremendous honor to continue to
serve the people of northern Utah. In my spare time I enjoy sports, skiing, golfing, fishing,
movies, spending time with my wife and kids. I am fluent in Spanish and love to practice Oral
and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Dayne R. Jensen
M.D., D.M.D., Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dayne R. Jensen, M.D., D.M.D. was born and raised in Utah. As a scholar athlete, he received his Bachelors of Science Degree from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, while playing football. He then received his first graduate degree in dentistry at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Dr. Jensen graduated Summa Cum Laude and received multiple awards during his time in dental school.
Doctor Dayne then began residency and obtained a medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, widely considered one of the finest residencies in the world in facial surgery.
He completed a total of 5 years of residency in Oral/Maxillofacial and General surgery during this time in Omaha. After completion of residency, he elected to further his training and accepted a position as fellow in Cosmetic Surgery in Oklahoma City.
During his fellowship Doctor Dayne completed over 1200 cosmetic surgery procedures.
Doctor Dayne currently serves as the surgical director for the organization Ghana make a difference where he and his team return to Africa each year to perform surgery. He is also a board member for the Utah chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis foundation.
Jason Tepper
DDS
Dr. Jason Tepper hails from Cleveland, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. During his undergraduate years, Dr. Tepper actively volunteered his time tutoring children and supporting the Ypsilanti Boys and Girls Club. He subsequently earned his dental degree at The Ohio State University, though his allegiance remains with the Wolverines (GO BLUE!). During dental school, Dr. Tepper served as the chapter president of the Alpha Omega dental fraternity and chapter treasurer of the American Student Dental Association.
Following dental school, Dr. Tepper pursued an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Christiana Care Medical Center, focusing extensively on facial trauma management. Dr. Tepper’s commitment to excellence led him to pursue a rigorous 4-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Minnesota. There, he developed advanced skills in anesthesia administration, implant placement, wisdom tooth extraction, corrective jaw surgery, and facial trauma reconstruction. His training also encompassed rotations in general surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and anesthesia. In his final year, Dr. Tepper served as chief resident and was awarded for achieving the highest score on the in-training examination.
In his free time, Dr. Tepper loves to run, hike, and ski through the moguls and trees. He is always looking for recommendations on trails, ice cream shops, and podcasts.
